The Grove Pool

Pool/foyer area

• All users must shower before entering the water. No shower means no swimming.
• Please remove jewellery before going in the pool. All stud earrings must be removed as these are the type that cause a hazard if they come out and someone steps on them, as they can then embed in the foot. All other types of earring, although it is preferred that they are removed, if they cannot; then it is fine to keep them in.
• Long hair should be tied back or enclosed in a swim hat or both
• Parents are only allowed in their own gender changing rooms
• No buggies/pushchairs to be kept in the corridor, this must be kept clear at all times
• Children not swimming should be supervised at all times and not left to run around in the corridor
• The lockers are not toy’s and should not be used to hide in!
• No food or drink whatsoever to be consumed in the changing rooms or poolside (except water by instructors and lifeguard’s poolside)

Car Park

• The Grove runs a no vehicle movement policy in the car park:
  Monday to Friday - No vehicle access for visitors to the car park before 9.15am the car park gate cannot be opened (not even for cycles) before this time. Pedestrian gate access only before 9.15am
  Saturday - No vehicle access to the carpark 9.45am - 10.15am and 1.45pm - 2.15pm again as above
  The Grove also request that people do not ring the intercom and ask to be let in to the car park gate during the restricted times. Vehicles should not wait in front of the gate to be let in if they arrive early as we still need to keep access for emergency vehicles
• During school hours Monday to Friday, swimmers must not park in areas marked for Staff. Use only the marked bays and do not park on keep clear areas, grassed areas or yellow hatched/zigzag line areas. If there are no spaces, users will need to find off site parking

Please note: There is free parking on the street and at the nearby car park at the community centre.
